The year 2025 shows that the world will face various challenges and opportunities. Technology, environmental issues, international relations and economic developments will be some of the prominent topics of this year. So, what issues will occupy the world in 2025?

Acceleration of Technological Transformation

2025 will be a year in which the impact of AI and automation technologies on various industries will deepen. It may be a year in which advanced AI applications will revolutionize the early diagnosis and treatment of diseases, especially in the healthcare sector. However, we will witness a significant transformation of transportation systems with the proliferation of autonomous vehicles. The proliferation of blockchain-based financial systems and central bank digital currencies will create new paradigms in the global economy.

Environmental Challenges and Sustainability

The impacts of climate change will become even more evident in 2025. It will be a year when droughts, forest fires and extreme weather events will force states and the international community to take urgent action. While investments in renewable energy sources will increase, policies to reduce carbon emissions will become more transparent and effective. At the same time, the decisions taken by world leaders at the 2025 Climate Summit will shape the sustainability agenda of the future.

International Relations and Security

Changes in the global balance of power will be the center of attraction in the international arena in 2025. Competition between actors such as the US, China, the EU, and India is expected to gain new dimensions. In addition to competition in technology and economic fields, cybersecurity threats and the proliferation of artificial intelligence-based weapons systems will be among the priorities of international peacekeeping efforts.

Economic Uncertainties and New Models

As the world economies recover from the pandemic, the effects of digitalization and green economy will be felt in the economies of 2025. While income inequality increases in some regions, on the other hand, innovative steps will be taken to close this gap with social policies. In addition, the effects of artificial intelligence and automation on employment will continue to lead to significant transformations in the current labor market while enabling the emergence of new professions.

Social and Cultural Changes

The globalizing world, social media and digital platforms will continue to shape the daily lives of individuals. The advancement of distance learning technologies in education will force education systems to be redesigned globally. Younger generations will continue to take on more important roles in climate activism and social justice movements.

The year 2025 will be a year that brings with it both wild opportunities and serious threats. In this period when technology, climate change, international relations and social changes come to the fore, the decisions taken by world leaders and the collective efforts of individuals will shape our future.

Today, humanity is trying to cope with the devastating effects of wars and conflicts. There have been countless wars throughout history, societies have suffered deep wounds and human dignity has been damaged. However, the idea of establishing a new world order without war and the desire to live together in peace and harmony has always been expressed. In this article, I would like to focus on some elements of how a new world order without war can be established.

  • Education and Awareness

The first step towards a new world order without war is of course educating and raising awareness in societies. Against nationalism, racism and extremist elements, peace education, spreading activities that will help individuals develop tolerance, empathy and understanding, teaching the young generations the richness and diversity of different cultures will help eliminate the fear and ignorance that are the roots of wars.

  • Diplomacy and Communication

Diplomacy should be at the forefront in international relations. The most effective way to solve problems between countries is through dialogue and negotiation. Bargaining instead of war allows for the strengthening of relations and peaceful resolution of problems. In addition, the effectiveness of international organizations should be increased and cooperation between countries should be encouraged through such organizations.

  • Economic Equality

Another cause of wars is economic inequalities. Poverty, injustice and unbalanced distribution of resources around the world are the main factors that feed conflicts. For a new world order without war, reforms should be made in the global economic system, a fair economic distribution should be ensured and equal opportunities should be provided to all individuals.

  • Environmental Sustainability

Climate change and environmental problems are causing tensions between countries to increase. Environmental sustainability is of critical importance for a new world without war. The protection of natural resources, the transition to green energy and the adoption of environmentally friendly policies will both preserve peace and leave a livable world for future generations.

  • Cultural Exchange and Collaboration

Cultural exchange and cooperation are elements that strengthen international relations and increase mutual understanding. The coming together of different cultures will break down prejudices and develop bonds of friendship. Strengthening relations between countries should be encouraged through cultural projects, art events and exchange programs.

As a result, establishing a new world order without war is the common responsibility of all humanity. Building a structure based on the principles of peace, justice and equality requires the efforts of not only governments but also individuals. Steps taken in a wide range from education to diplomacy, from economic equality to environmental sustainability will contribute to preventing wars and ensuring lasting peace. Humanity must learn from its past mistakes and do its part for a more peaceful and harmonious world. It should not be forgotten that a more just and livable WORLD is possible.

Turkey has been talking about the incident that took place at the Military Academy graduation ceremony for days. In the courts set up on social media, some declare young lieutenants as “putschists”, while some, with unconcealed joy, cannot say “The Kemalist army will speak” but still give verdicts that bear a resemblance to February 28 and the Republic Rallies of 2007! First of all, this army belongs to all of us. No one has the right to drag the Turkish Armed Forces into an ideological discussion with political calculations. Especially in this period of history. This army wrote an epic after the July 15 betrayal. It achieved successes that will go down in world military history in the Euphrates Shield, Olive Branch, Peace Spring and Claw Lock operations.

While global imperialism is trying to establish a new world order, it has preserved Turkey's rightful arguments and the interests it is trying to usurp in northern Syria, Iraq, Libya, the Caucasus, the Balkans, Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean. And it continues to do so.

In a process where Turkey is turning into a ring of fire, the last thing we need is for the Turkish Armed Forces to be drawn into internal political discussions. This is exactly what those who compete with us in the geographies we mentioned above want the most. Be careful. This discussion, which is being kept hot with social media reflexes, needs to be ended without continuing any further.

According to official sources, there is currently no investigation into the “Clashing Swords” movement at the Military Academy graduation ceremony. However, an investigation will be conducted. It will be examined why 200-250 of the 980 lieutenants who took the oath repeated the old oath. Action will be taken within the framework of the relevant regulation according to the results obtained. So, is it an indiscipline by young lieutenants? Yes, it is. The TSK will resolve this issue within its own internal structure. This is not the job of social media courts.

Those lieutenants are only in their early 20s. They are excited, they are aware of the great responsibility on their shoulders. Let's not give what they want to those who are looking for an opportunity to divide society by using their excitement. Let's not forget that Anatolia, along with Thrace and the straits, is the most valuable property in the world and that we have the title deed to this property. And of course, those who have their eyes on this property...

It is no coincidence that all the wars and civil unrest affecting the world recently are 1-2 hours away from us as the crow flies. That is why the defense of Anatolia begins in Gaza. That is why Mehmetçik is in Syria, Iraq, Libya…

The National Pact borders drawn by Gazi Mustafa Kemal in the last century are the main target imposed on us by history and geography.

When it comes to our homeland and the National Pact, we are all soldiers of Atatürk.

No one should divert the issue to other sides. No one should try to turn the nation's children against the nation.

Türkiye will not fall into this trap again.
